Job Description

Newport Ventures, a leading construction technology consulting firm, is seeking a motivated, organized, and collaborative professional to support projects related to building energy efficiency, energy efficiency program management, building codes and standards, green building, technical communications, and training.

This position is ideal for someone who is interested in sustainability and building science, while also wanting to play an important role in strengthening Newport Ventures’ internal office culture, team coordination, and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities may include assisting with research, analysis, technical writing, project coordination, client deliverables, meeting preparation, training support, and program implementation. The role will also help support office culture and employee engagement through internal communications, team events, onboarding support, company meetings, administrative coordination, and efforts that make Newport Ventures an organized, collaborative, and positive place to work.

Excellent research and analytical skills, proven written and oral communication capabilities, strong organization, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in sustainability are required. Ideal candidates will have 2–5 years of experience in a relevant background area such as engineering, energy efficiency, architecture, sustainability, program administration, communications, or operations. Demonstrated experience supporting or implementing building energy efficiency programs for utilities, government agencies, or other organizations is a plus.

A bachelor’s degree is required. Some travel may be required. Salary will be commensurate with experience level.

This is a strong opportunity for an ambitious early-career professional who wants to contribute immediately while growing into a larger role within the company over time.
