Job Description

Salary: $137,500 - 229,100 per year Requirements:

  • We require a degree or equivalent experience, along with typically 7+ years of relevant professional background.
  • We look for 7+ years of software engineering experience and at least 5+ years of building and releasing production software.
  • We need strong systems design fundamentals and the ability to write clean, testable, well-structured code.
  • We expect broad full-stack capability across TypeScript, Python, and Go, plus modern frontend, APIs, and backend services.
  • We need strong experience with cloud infrastructure and IaaS platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, as well as containers and CI/CD in an enterprise environment.
  • We value an automation-first mindset with a proven record of removing manual work and creating scalable solutions.
  • We seek a customer-centric approach, with technical decisions grounded in real user needs.
  • We want someone genuinely excited about the fast-evolving AI landscape and eager to build at the frontier of agentic development.

  • Nice-to-have experience includes hands-on work with LLMs or agentic AI systems, such as prompt and context engineering, tool usage, or agent orchestration.
  • Additional advantages include experience with developer platforms, internal tooling, or SDKs.
  • Experience in application security, DevSecOps, or enterprise data platforms is a plus.
  • Background in healthcare or other regulated, large-scale enterprise environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities:
  • We design and build core parts of the Bolt harness, including skills, commands, platform tools, and guardrails that keep AI-generated code secure and compliant.
  • We develop tooling that improves the reliability and efficiency of agentic development, including orchestration, context and token optimization, and reusable templates.
  • We strengthen enterprise-grade layers such as design systems, shift-left security, data integration, and automated verification and validation.
  • We own the path from specification to deployed software across multiple environments, including CI/CD and secrets management.
  • We help set the technical standard through architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentorship.
